About outrEACH


outrEACH is a non-government organisation founded in Bombay in 1999. It is in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Our Mission is to communicate for our cause to impact positive social change.

Our Goal is to reach out to marginalised sections of society like the elderly, the disabled, women, children, and people in distress in India; and improve their physical reality as well as existing attitudes towards them.

Our Objective is to curb the largely unreported problem of Elder Abuse, first, by making people aware of its existence and its symptoms, and second, by identifying the abused elderly, encouraging them to open up and mobilising them to participate in a dialogue.

Our Tool is communication -- verbal to non-verbal, audio to visual, one-on-one to internet.

 

Donations to "Outreach Trust" are exempt under section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961 in India.
